Professional Journey
Dr. Prem Shah completed his undergraduate and postgraduate training in General Surgery from Gujarat and began his surgical career at Shree Krishna Hospital, Karamsad, where he worked for one year in the General Surgery department.
In 2019, he pursued advanced training in Surgical Gastroenterology at Seth G.S. Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai, one of India’s premier institutes. Over nearly four years, he gained extensive exposure to complex gastrointestinal surgeries and was awarded the DrNB (Doctorate of National Board) in Surgical Gastroenterology.
He further expanded his expertise while working at Mission Gastro Care, Vadodara, and as a visiting gastro surgeon at Parul Sevashram Hospital, Waghodia for nearly two years.
Driven by a vision to bring advanced GI care closer to patients, he founded GASTROHEAL – Centre for Digestive Diseases at Mahendra Shah Hospital, Anand. He also provides services across Anand, Nadiad, and remains associated with Shree Krishna Hospital, Karamsad.
